I just got some prismacolor pencils and have no idea how to use them to their best quality:banghead: . So if you have any techniques, go on ahead to show me. thanks

lucky!!!! i want prismacolors!!!! the nearest store is 45 min. away!!!! dang you small town life!!!! haha i'm done...... uhhh try a bunch of random stuff.... that's what i do to get used to new materials.....when i get them!!!

I can get Prisma colors with in two miles of my house, :evillol: and at two different places in the shopping center. :evillol: Then if I need more I drive 20minutes to a huge art store.:evillol:

isaac, well you must attack them and not fear them. it is easy to be too light with them and you get grain. personally, i use them pretty much to accentuate marker renderings. i do not use them as a primary medium. marker is much more fluid and, to me, easier, than bearing down for hours on friciton-laden prismacolors. and the constant sharpening is never-ending.
however, stunning f/x can be achieved with them when mastered. you must dive into them full throttle.
