Sounds like someone does not know how to tune there DFI, If it is like he says it is, It should be alot faster. Hell Personally I would feel horrible if I had that car and I pulled up next to Cal Hartline or Jack cotton (badddd asssss TSE Turbo Buicks running in the 8.50-8.40's and some still have AC and totally street legal) and get smoked. 16 PSI...... Crank it up and go for it!

Yes it should be alot faster. DFI if realll finiky. if everything is not in tune, DFI (except for the brand new 7.0) like to schuck pistons. If I were to buy that car, I would scrap the DFI and get the Fel-Pro fast system. Alot of autocompensating.

you also have to remember traction. especially if he ran the car on those nasty sportman pros! Nice tires, but not compared to an ET street/Drag. He said it ran the high 9 on smaller turbos and only 16#, so I am sure with the larger turbos, maybe 30#, and good tuning (I agree he should go with F.A.S.T.) he should be getting there rather quick!
