high output alternators

do i need to upgrade my stock alternator (it's a 70amp) if i'm going to run a 1400-1600 watt amp, but keep in mind that i will be using a optima red top battery and a 1-1.5 farad capacitor.

Depends on the 1400-1600 watt amp! I would think that with a 1.5 farad cap, and upgraded battery that you should be fine... but you will never know till you try it!

if you want an upgraded Alternator just look on Ebay as there is a guy on there that has them for the Hondas' and they put out liek 150 or so....but also a Cap wouldn't be a bad idea either...
