Did you let the paint dry enough before masking? Two days to one week seems to be the time needed for the paint to dry completely... Has the body been washed before primed (better adherence)?
Well, that sucks... Just a little "castrol bath" and "do it again" paint... Sorry!

I tend to rough the body VERY slightly to give better adherence use 2000 grade wet and dry, it also makes sure all in release agent is off the body.

You got the point bro'. I'm using this method also. Got some striped paint by masking tape. If there will be a lot of masking I also use transparent primer.
