TypeKoshiR Civic is ready

So we finally did it..engine is tuned and in car and runin nice and smoth
so all we have to do now is dyno it and chip it (right now I have skunk2 chip in ECU) it pulls nice in low rpms but when it comes to high rpms I think that we need to change fuel map...till now max rew that I did was about 8000rpm...the car is so loud cause all it have from exhaust is pipe (55mm) from header to the end of the car where is attached on to one little silencer...

I'll give you all the details abot the engine modiffing after the dyno run

We already have new front bumper and side skirts are in making ;0)

Looks like someone slapped it on the nose with a spatchula. Looks good though, whats the specs? Also on the video, all I could get is sound... sounds good though heh

yeah, fuck Divx.... I used to use it back in the experimental stages several years ago... swear I shall never use it again.

DivX is very cool nowadays - much better compression and quality. :)

First I must dyno it and chip it so we'll know what the spec of the engine are, cause there has been lots of work done on it....

P.S.: by the way I think my car is a bit higher cause of those 17" wheels the are 40 instead of 35

You won't belive it but I made it I swaped the 6th gen civic dash into my civic with little modifications done on the frame and a lot of modiffication done on the air system :0( that air system sucked big time and took me lots of time to modifeid it...
But it's in :0) I'll take photos and show it how it looks like...

How well does the dash match up with the door panels? Could you gets some pics of that? I noticed that the new dash doesn't have the air-ducts for the door-mounted window vents...

I'll take some more photos as soon as I can and I'll post it so you'll see how it looks now I put in the tacho and those three autometer gauges I was tellin' a while ago....
That air vents are the trickiest part, all I did was modify the one that is going to the front window cause that one is must be, the others are just to tricky to do in so short time maybe some day I'll do the conectors ftom orig to new dash from poliester...all I need to do now is modify door panels but we'll prolly do them from CF cause my friend is totally amaized about it

Damnit... you gave me an insane idea... since I can't get my 91 running, I just had the insane thought that I could strip my Del Sol VTEC completely down, use all the engine, electronics, wiring, ect... convert it over to my 91 and have a perfectly running Bseries engine in my 91 Civic...

O.K. we finally dynoed it...
You won't belive it with Skunk2 chip in the ECU we gain a 167HP at aprox 6500rpm then it was goin down low and the rpm limit in that chip is on 9200rpm :0( BAD choice
So we put STOCK b16a2 obd1 ECU in and we gain out 176HP at aprox 7800rpm...
So what we need to do now is put on the 4-1 JUN header that I'm waiting to get from States and then took it back to dyno and chip the ECU on dyno and then we'll see the real resaults that we gain from tuning...
We were runing on stock 98 octane gas, next time we'll put in the real gas cause the compression is a bit high in the engine and after the dyno I add some octane booster and the
car didn't knock that bad anymore...
So in a week or two we'll do that DYNO and ECU preprograming and then I'll post new numbers

We try to drag a little and we are even when he's boostin' 0.3 bar
but when he goes on 0.5 he's in a advance for a little but I must fix that electronic cause I'm using stock ESI ECU with only171HP dynoed with B16A2 ECU I'm havin' 175HP so I expect after the electronic will be fixed it'll be min 185HP...

It's stock B16A2 IM off of the 96' civic litlle ported and polished on the outside my job :0) took me hell of a long time to do that ;0)

Today I drove my car to dyno it and preprogram A/F map you won't belive it but we gain 163,9 WHP that means 193,4 HP on the flywheel...And crazy torque number...

MAX power.........7232rpm > 163,9 WHP
Torque...............6183rpm > 17.0

I'll post dyno as soon as I scan it

Finally went to drag race to try my car...
I beat the ITR (header + IM ...) and S2K and some other cars...time on 1/4mile gainst the ITR was 14.77s (with reaction time) but I don't know what time against the S2000 was I must check that one out too and I'll post it on...I just couldn't get any better cause the front tires were in souch a bad shape I was burning my tires all over first and second gear and I started at 2000rpm :0( when I started at 1k rpm tires got a grip get till the end of first put into second and floor the gass and again the same old story burned the tires in second gears...On sunday I have another leagal drag race with new 205/50/15 tires on so we'll see how much improvment will I gain !

that crx (del sol for us americans) needs to clean up some of those wires and vacuum lines under his hood. You car looks great though and its making some decent power. Keep up the progress homie!
