95 Quad 4 fuel system

I have a 95 GA SE with the quad 4 motor and I have been burning through coils about every 6 months. I was driving the other day and the service engine soon light came on, I was in 5th gear maintaining about 50mph and the car started to buck and miss. It only did this momentarily and when I floored the pedal it picked up and was fine. Since that day it has done the same thing every 5 to 10 minutes no matter what I am doing (Idle, or driving), and speed and gear don't seem to affect the problem. Could I be having a fuel system problem? Can someone explain how the fuel system on the quad 4 motor works?

Hey, the same the same thing is happening to my car. did you fiqure out what is going on with it? I find that my car is worse on rainy days.

Quad 4 Motor is notorious for failing Ignition Coil Housing $60. Parts store would not even sell us a Lifetime warranty on that part and would only give me 3 months warranty.
Replace the spark plugs while you are at it. If the spark plug boot (that connects between spark plug and the ignition coil housing) look damaged or has cracked in them, then replace all 4 of them.
Use a spark plug grease on the spark plug and the boot to form a tight seal to prevent dirt and moisture from getting into the spark plug.
