Gude Hea Package?

I dont have the money for a turbo for my 1999 Honda Accord so i was thinkin of getting the gude head package. It is the head,camshaft,throttlebody and more. Do u think it is worth spending $2,000 on it? Do you think it would give me at least 40 hp?

it's okay, probably around 30hp if they do everything for you. I'd talk to JG though, gude has been known for poor customer service amongst other problems....and JG is generally cheaper/more knowledgeable.

JG doesn't "make" a head package, but they will do one for you, and for fairly reasonable prices. e-mail javier, I'm sure he'd be happy to help you.

Honestly, $2000 or so for 40hp, is kinda ludicrous if you think about it. Since nitrous alone would net you (at a very conservative shot) 50-55hp. And, even a super nice nitrous set up with tons of bottle fill ups would come no where near $2000.

A turbo would cost you about the same, and net you about double the power too.

I dunno, $2000 for the gude package is a rip off in my oppinion. JG will do a very good street/strip head job for you for under $500 if I remember correctly. They'll do your cams and throttle body for under $500 too.

What should i do tho about contacting that guy? Is it going to be alot of work with all this stuff i am getting done? In your opinion, what do u think i should do for about $2,000? I cant seem to find alot of turbos for my car.
