Hi,
I am thinking about getting an Accord. I only hear great things about how reliable they are. But, I am also looking for something that will have a little performance in it. I was looking through the posts and I have a couple of questions. To start off, the Accords that I am looking at are going to be about a 1996 or a 1998.
Is it better/cheaper for me to get an Accord with the inline 4 in it and then swap the engine for an H22a?
Or is it better for me to just buy the Accord with the V6 in it?
If I got the Accord with the V6 in it, is it still worth swapping out that engine for the H22a?
Thanks

Not to knock the V6, but it just does not have the track record that the I4 has. The I4 has always been reliable, and it is easier to work on because space under the hood is an issue. V6 adds up to higher prices at the pump as well as higher prices when the work needs to be done under the hood.
