Hey all, obviously im a camaro head, but recently i was left a 1995 jeep wrangler with a five speed, and 4.0L I6 by a cousin who died. its overall in great shape, didnt do alot of offroad or anything, but im in the process of checking it out (im a chevy tech) and cant get it to pass emissions, namley NOx, ive done an induction service, fuel injector cleaning, new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, new air filter. other emissions are better, but NOx is still at 1400-1600 when the limit is 947. anyone know any common problems with these jeeps to cause this? at this point im thinking the three way cat is failed, but its 400 bucks and thought id ask here before i get it.

I've heard you might be able to get past the emissions man by pouring a bottle of rubbing alcohol in the gas tank. Worth a try at 97 cents a bottle. Don't do it with a full tank though, might not be enough.
