Why can't I?

I'm not sure where this would belong - move it to where it needs to be if ya please mods.
Why can't I just buy a fucking Civic Si? I wanted something easier on gas than my car, sporty for it's type, and easy on the eyes. So I look on ebay for a Civic Si... I figured I'd get some ricemobiles for sale for 14 grand but this shit is ridiculous.
All I see are "TURBO CIVIC SIR" and "SUPERCHARGED VORTECH CIVIC SI" (yes, it said Vortech.) and "SUPER RARE SIR WITH WINGS WEST KIT" and "FAST AND THE FURIOUS CIVIC"
with maybe one or two newer ones (not badly priced for the looks and plus the shifter looks fun), and a small handful of people just trying to sell civic Si's.
It's movies like f&f that cause clutters and ridiculous pricing on cars lik the civic. Why pay 10 grand for an Si when I can get a GSX for about 5 grand? Bah. Guess I'll just keep looking...

my advice to you, forget the Civic's. Go find yourself a Twin Turbo 300ZX. You'll be much happier! :smokin:

I agree with Karen, go get yourself a Twin Turbo and im sure you will be satisfied. They may not be very reliable or good on gas but they will keep you happy. :]
If your not looking for anything like that then go for the Nissan Z (or sx) cars. They are good on gas, reliable, quick, and not as common as the everday Civic (soon to be called a Joe car, lol)

Cant drive FR in the snow with all these hills.
So it's AWD or FF for me.
I just felt like posting my disdain for the general f&f populace.

I couldn't think of any car that is less reliable than a 300zxtt!
good on gas? I don't know - I mean, it's a 3-litre-V6 with two chargers

ha ha yeah gas mileage was what i was thinkin bout when i read the suggestion for the z....he said he wanted an economy car! And yeah considering i got crazy ass oversteer in the camry when it snowed here, i can only imagine what it would be like in a RWD car

RWD is fun in winter -
me + friends (who also drive old benzes) always drive to an abadoned military area here to drift around edges and curves -
imagine that in a 3900 lbs. diesel!

Snow tires will equalize the FR snow problem, i was reading an article in one of the car magazines. It was FF horepower comarison. In it the author stated that with snow tires it is much easier to control a car in the snow, as long as you know how to drive.

The fast and the furious did make most imports unaffordable (Like the supra). In any event ebay isn't a good idea to buy import cars from. I'd suggest that you go to www.autotrader.com

I've never had snow tires and i don't have a problem...must be the weight of my car.
:banghead:
Maybe not...perhaps some of us just learn to drive our cars?
haha
