Possible Purchase of 97 M3

I am thinking of buying a 97 M3. Right now I am in the research stage. I have been trying to research the aftermarket for it, I know of DINAN as most do but I notice they dont have 97 M3 listed its like the y just skipped a few years. Any other good tuners out there? I wont be doing much for upgrades for awhile if i do purschase the car. Id probably just do brake upgrade and some minor suspension upgrades.

Are there any well put together performance packages for this car?

Any help would be great. Id like any links or what have you to need to know info. I really dont know anything about BMW's except they handle well and there among the safest cars built. I found that out when a HS buddy wrecked his 3 series and it rolled over. He walked away with only a broken ankle.

ANY info would be great cause I couldnt fin anything but specs on the car.

perhaps before planning a purchase AND upgrades you should take one for a thorough roadtest, you know, find a dealer with a '97 or 98' and 'test drive it! you may discover the reason for the limited amount of 'upgrades' available......unless it's for 'track-only' use, BMW didn't miss much of anything on the set-up

I been on Bimmerforums and it isnt very productive. Seems more porn than actual BMW shit. There isnt many people who reply to questions pertainign to BMW's but when someone posts PORN or a kill story theres a crap load of posts. Pretty useless.

I must be missing something on this forum as I jsut signed on to help some BMW owners with their problems after growing annoyed at some of the answers I was reading.....WHERE'S THE PORN ?....

jefferey, go to teh off topic section when you see a topic with NWS its usualy porn. just do a search and type in NWS and you probably seea huge list.

Dude what is you sn on bimmerforums! If you are in the off topics that is where a lot of things like that are. You need to go to the e36 m3 sections...You need to browse the site a little more before you drop it. Trust me there is a lot of help on there. Main thing is do a search before asking because it may have already been asked before which will lead to no answers!
