Hello everybody in my first post.
I need some help with my sunroof. I have a new switch in it, so I don't know what happens. Sunroof sometimes works, sometimes don't. Now, with the new switch, I can see the light of the switch when it works, no light when it doesn't work. So maybe it's a electrical problem, but where is it??... The sunroof seems to works better in colder temperature (at night for example).....
Any opinions???
Thanks

you didn't mention if the windows work ok, of both the roof & window go out at the same time, the likely problem is the 'comfort' relay under driver's dash, it's held in a small relay carrier that will unclip from the dash support for access.

Thanks for for your reply.
Zero problems in windows. The problem is in the sunroof.... Do you think is the 'comfort' relay, yet?

no! the comfort relay powers both systems. the E36 sunroof cassettes are very problematic mechanically but it SOUNDS as though your problem is electrical. with that cover panel that the switch fits into pulled down, listen and watch what's happening. the microswitches in the motor unit and the relay up there can fail.
