Front door handle

Hello everyone,
I'm new here and I needed some help in fixing the driver's side door handle. I cannot open the door from the outside. I have the door panel off and I don't know what to do next. If anyone can help please respond.

there should be a wire that connect the handle with the locking mechanism i will see if my book has a picture. some time those wires come lose or break off .

I had the same problem, except my handle was broken in 2 places. The are 2 bolts holding the handle on the door. You need small hands to get to them.

Visibility can be helped by removed the small black plastic plug located in the back edge of the door.

I am trying to replace my broken outside left front dor handle too. I have small hands but I can't reach that top bolt/nut with my hand let alone a socket. GM couldn't have made this one more difficult if they tried. Any suggestions?
