overheating.......

hey people whats up,

i have a 92 sentra 1.6 lltr, 60k. i was driving and i noticed it slightlly rasing the temperture, i parked then pressed gas slightly, the temp meter start rasing quickly, it never did that, but when i opened the hood, the heat felt as normal..... what can it be ???? oil change ????

Hmmm. Well my friend had a Maxima, one night it was running really hot. And now his entire engine block is smoked. The answer was the water pump stopped working. So I wouldn't drive your car much or at all and somehow try to check the waterpump. Or first off make sure your coolant levels and all are good, same with hoses, etc... Good Luck. - Bob.
