wazzup!!!

long time no post...been pretty busy...update on me and my life:

1. just recently got layed off (12/31/01) :mad:
2. just recently filed for unemployment (1/6/02) :flipa:
3. just recently did nothing but sit on my ass for 2 weeks and get paid my final check, severence check, unemployment check(s) and about to get a hefty tax return (1/6/02-1/18/02) :D
4. just recently helped my little brother get a new car (1/17/02) He got a Mercedes C230 Coupe, lucky bastard. :flipa:
5. just recently got back on AF after a couple a weeks (1/21/02)

glad to be back, hope to post more :cool:

Sorry to hear you get layed off. Stuff happens but you gotta keep on keepin on. I guess you helped your brother get the car by using some of your credit.

Man, that sucks, hope you don't lose your G. My dad got laid off in the early nineties, but he was fortunate enough to get brought back after IBM got their shit together. I hope that you will have the same good fortute.

ya hope you get your job back, i think they will miss admiring your G in the parking lot so they will have to hire you back :D

I am getting layoff too, actually the store i am working at now is closing in about 2 weeks...then i will try to collect unemployment...cuz i go to school

i've been kinda busy looking for a job...so far no ones hiring, everyones laying everyone off...i think i'm gonna find some "under the table" type job for the time being so i can collect unemployment and get paid from my "cash-only" job :flipa: i just hope no one here works for the texas workforce commision, if you do...just dont rat me out :frog:

i dont know man, its a pretty sweet ride for the money, benz quality and service, 192hp, 200lbs of torque, supercharged(same motor as SLK Kompressor), it'll take a C240 ($35k+) easily and its able to keep up with a C320,CLK320, SLK320 (all around $45k+), we payed ~$32k out the door(ttl included). it has the C2 Package(panorama sunroof, rain sensing wipers), C7 wheel package(17"wheels, leather shift knob, aluminum pedals aluminum door sills), 5-speed tiptronic tranny, Leather.

I think he got his moneys worth, but of course others might think different :cool:

The thing I like most about my Infiniti is you don't see that many around like you do Benz, Beemers, Civics, etc...(at least around my way)!

Why didn't you convince him to keep it in the family and get an I30 or G35.
