I have a 99 grand am 2 door and niether of my power windows are working. (There are 3 switches total). The circuit breaker is good. I have tried everything i could think of. The motors are good, I dont know about the relay or the switches. I was thinking it could be a short but so far i checked resistance of the wires from the switch to the motor and they are good. Another thing is the circuit breaker gets really hot when i turn the car on and mess with the switches. Please help me figure it out.

A few questions.
How do you know the motors are good? Did you apply power directly to them and see them move?
Windows don't work from any switch - ever, right?
I would expect the circuit breaker to get hot if you turn on ignition and operate switches. However do you ever hear the breaker open up (indicating overcurrent).
I would suggest you have to monitor voltage when operating switches and see if anything unusual is happening. Are you using a volt meter or test light for your checks?

Yes, i have applied direct power to the motors and it works. I am using a volt meter. I can' here the circuit breaker open when i move the switches and none of the switches work.
