Bought 99 Rodeo LS from Auction Fuel Gauge problem

Hi i already know about the fuel gauge problem. I was wondering since its a manufacturing fault will i be covered. it has about 87000 miles on it, i bought it with 69000. I dont want to pay 500 dollars for this but its kinda annoying using the miles meter. Anything i can do?

yes this will be covered by you. purchase the fuel level sender kit its only $50 remove the tank remove the fuel pump and replace the sending unit
