GSR Running rough

Recently I notice sometimes it runs kind of rough and feels like I am pushing the engine even I am only at 3000~4000 rpm. But sometimes it runs perfectly fine, can push it up to 5000~6000 rpm with no problems. It sounded really different too. I am thinking it might be the exhaust?

Anybody else got this problem? By the way I got a '95 GSR.

explain what it feels like and sounds like. Just saying it is running bad isn't enough info. Well not for me anyway. Give some more detail!

Well, hard to explain but it feels rough and sounds like alot of friction in the engine even at low rpms (around 3000 to 4000rpm). Would still able to go higher rpms but it definitly sounds abnormal and way too loud and alot of frictioin...

But it doesn't always stays like that. Sometimes after I stopped for awhile, or the next morning, the engine would be totally different. When it was smooth the engine would be alot quieter and accel alot smoother, even up to high rpms.

I was told to buy some fuel injector cleaners, but I already been using those quiet frequently.

you getting any check engine light when it's acting up?... and does it get worse when it's under load or at anytime regardless of the load?
