Are underground neon kits street legal in Forida?

they are legal everywhere i think just certain colors arn't allowed .. ie.. red...blue.. because they are only supposed to be used as emergancy colors.. i live in ohio and have had blue ones for ever and have only been warned a handfull of times.. get what ever you want... just like tint.. i have black/silver mirror tint.. illegal as hell but never pulled over for it..

they arent illeagal as long as your not moving. atleast thats how it is in MN. You can have them on when your parked but not while driving.

if you slap no a pair of neon, better be damn sure that it can fly. all the attention is on you now .

Here all colors are illegal. But they dont care about the white ones.

i live in florida, red and blue IS ILLEGAL if you're moving....parked is fine.

..and all other colors are fine while driving IF you cant see the BULB the light is coming out of :smokin:

well just a simple neon kit is about $100 but if u wanna go on ebay u can get the streetglow "gold" series...no the color isnt gold...but they do different shii..

ex (they chase,strobe,ect..) andu can get some that even change colors around $150 :smokin:

Me, my Dad, and my friend run a car lot/ audio equipment/performance parts shop in minnesota, and we sell the kits for $150 and if you want the kit and have us install them we charge $200. You want to be careful when buying a set becuase you definately get what you pay for.

that newbie pic is funny,for neons,i think it depends on what state your in cuz in mass iv seen people with them,but ill tell ya if you smoke or do anything illegal,remember with the attention grabing neons you also get cops attention,thats why i wont get em,imo

imtheoneandonlyD , I live in bemidji, if you dont know where it is, its a little over 5 hours from you. We are just getting everything up and going(floor space setup, inventory) so nothing to spectacular at the moment but hopefully in the near future it will be.

as far as them breaking, it depends on the quality of the outer sheathing and how you mount it. If there is any slight bend in the neon when it is mounted, and you hit a little bump the neon itself will pop. If the sheathing is high quality then it will last for a long time. The guy that works with me had a set on his car, he hit the ditch and was actually had one of the sticks stuck on a rock and it still didnt break.

yes it is true, i'm from minnesota and you can have them, but don't be putting them on when driving. the PIGS will get you...

i think neons are kinda gay anyway unless you car is pimped out to the max cuz they draw alot of attention,but most cars iv seen with them me and my freinds made fun of them,usualy shitty cars in Boston have them,little chinese kids
