Rear Sway Brace/Tie Rod

My left rear sway brace is clanging. Suspect the bushing is gone, I lifted the car up and can jiggle the brace at the center of the car makes a metalic click. Looks like it may be a problem getting the bolts out. They are the ones with the cam washers. Any one do this before. I guess the only way to get the bushing is to replace the arm. Any help is appreciated.

no prob. i got my rora used. it had the right rear one missing. go and get new one from dealer. it was about 30 bucks. sears installed mine for about 20 bucks. u can probly do it. also i suggest gettin a lifetime alignment from firestone. i bought a lifetime alignment from my local firestone (expert tire) for about 110 bucks. saves a lot of $ over time.

If you are going to replace them, it may be good to go ahead and get energy suspension urethane bushings. It gives the car a little less rock n roll in the turns.

I replaced the arm and the rusted old worn out hardware. The other side looked like it was going to start trouble soon so I did it too. I installed a set of Monroe MA822 air shocks (direct fit) original ones were still on the car 126,000 miles. What a difference they made.
