Are all of the Elemental Designs subwoofers good? If not, which ones are the best?

all good... but as with other things, depends on where you're gonna put it and how you're gonna use it :-)

It all depends on your budget and/or current amp, etc.
Similar to topic: on the elemental designs website, they give blueprints for boxes. If I build one of these, do i just put the sub in and go? or do i need to add poly-fill or anything?

Yes they're good, I enjoy mine
There are a lot of other good brands too, just depends on what you're looking for

hey sr20 and haibane, which elemental design subwoofer would you recommend me if...
#1 im going to put it in a sealed box
#2 sq
#3 $150 per sub ($300 total to spend)
#4 hopefully 300rms
right now the sub im going to buy is the alpine type R i can get it for $115, but im also looking for alternatives thx

I would get a 12Ov2, I think they are around that cost... Haven't looked in a while. Maybe even the 10O

I would go for a Shiva on that amount of power, the new v2s seem to be pretty power hungry, not sure how well they'd do on 300rms.
