I would be most grateful if one could tell me how I can access the museum. (the one that is in the Chertsey Road plant) Any information will be of some help, eg. prebooking places etc?
many regards,
darryl
ps. can someone tell me what they think of my small collection?
the photos aren's the greatest resolution but in my opinion perfectly acceptable.

No info on that museum - but I'd like to know more too.
I do like your collection. I see you ended up with the wheel center from rapidrocket - it looks to be a very nice piece. :bigthumb:
One thing I have never really understood was why a model company would make a chromed version of a carbon fiber car. It just seems like a bit of an oxymoron to me. I do hear that it looks nice, but I don't think I'll be adding one to my own collection.

I'm sorry I got it actually. For a start I paid way too much for it and I was heartbroken to find that it is only a converted Maisto with some other included bits and pieces.
I do love the centre piece though, it is of course increadably light and looks stunning in the flesh.
Do you have any pieces of the Mclaren Peloton, I see that you buy bits and pieces from the same seller.

The only F1 piece I got from him was the center "F1 V12" emblem from the steering wheel center which I plan to include in a framed litho of the F1 that I have. I've gotten a few other things from him, but they weren't pieces of the car. I did want the shift knob he was offering not too long ago, but wasn't around to bid on it in the end and I believe that 'wardygb' was the one who snagged it.

I too wanted (and still want) that piece. It is a shame that that the purcheser grabed it for £50 (his max bid and the auction opening price). I was there but was I was waiting for the very last minute (i thought there would be heaps of bidders) but missed it!
I am sorry to bring this up but I was quite dissappointed when nobody replyed to one of my previous threads. I am not old , but I would hate to see a stereotype that thinks someone like me could have little knowledge in this field when the opposite is true. (please, I am not refering to anyone in particular). At least one could have told me where to go, I live in Ireland, miles away from any civilization, ask someone what a car is and they would certainly wouldn't have the faintest idea!
