Hi Everyone, I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee SE, plain but a good rig. Last year It was having tranny problems, so we took it in to the tranny shop. Of couse it needed a rebuild, as we were told, after disagreeing they pulled codes and said the Tranmission Control Module was bad. After a fluid change and TCM, it ran great until now. It is doing the same thing once more, no power in drive, limp home mode works (gear 1,2), but no drive. I have been reading about the TPS sensor, most of the postings are for earlier years than mine. I have read the the input voltage should be 5 vdc and the the signal should range from .6vdc with a closed throttle to 4.6 wide open throttle. Mine is 8vdc input and 1.4 signal it sweeps fine as the throttle is opened. I tried to adjust it but can not rotate the sensor. My particular TPS will fit years 92-96, is there a different way to adjust the TPS in these years?
