2000 eclipse radio code

Is there anywhere online I can get the code for a 2000 eclipse radio?

Do you mean the unlock code for the radio? If so, I doubt it. You can call the dealer with the serial number from the radio and they will give you the code. They might even be able to do it with just the VIN but when I called they wanted the serial number.

I don't know about yours, but on the 2g it is on either the side of top of the radio (I can't remember which). I know it only takes about 5 minutes to get to the radio in the 2g but I don't know about yours. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

I'm surprised they only asked for the serial number. If thats the case, anyone could steal one and get the code, and install it in thier car. They should be asking for the VIN to be sure the radio is in the right car ;) They always asked me for the VIN, before I finally wrote it down.

The asked me for the VIN too. One dealer said that they need to take it out and do it themselves and wanted $70 to do it.. I just called another dealer.
