Blowing accessories fuse

When we travel, we use an inverter to plug a small tv into to keep the boys occupied. The problem is if we plug it into the front accessories plug/lighter, we constantly blow fuses. If we plug it into the rear outlet we don't. I don't like plugging it in the rear because it is easy for it to get covered up and lose all ventilation.
