ok... ive thought about this.. and migth as well take the first steps to set it in motion..

WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK OF PHOTOSHOP RANKINGS ON HERE...?

we could keep it in like .. top 30....

there could be voting... or i dunno.. not sure yet...

or we could.. as i community.. rate every chop that people do for 1.0 to 10.0
and see who stands where...

then you know..
well any ideas.. comments...think i suck?

sorry buddy im going to have to disagree with this idea. Although im new here, i still think that if you do this, it'll create many new rivalries, and a few choppers may get big headed and think their the "shit." Also some peopel just may stop chopping or somethign if they dont make it.

If you guys go ahead and do this, make sure your considerate about what you guys say, and be sure not to get bigheaded.

but compatition brings out the best in people..

Then let that best come out in competitions, not rankings. We're a community here, and I think ranking people based on their ability would be a bad move.

Who cares whos the best? There is no trophy or cash prize. And braggin rights isnt gonna get ya laid because you can put rims on a car. Its all just fun. Share and help and explore a life outside of photoshopping cars.

I agree with GS, if you start ranking people they may give up and not improve. Hell i this is only my 5th or 6th post and havent put anything up yet. Dont wanna get discouraged before i even start.

when people are talking to crowds to say what they need to say, most people will "get on a soapbox" as to elevate themselves so everyone hears them. just a figure of speech ran, dont worry about your butthole.

I just wanted to post one idea:

When posting, people should always have the option to accept or refuse the ranking. Many of us just chop for pleasure (I wouldn't mind to see a ranking, but the structure that surrounds a well done system isn't worth the effort...at least I don't see the need to have one in this forum)

I agree with Ruig. No need for rankings. And please note that many of us are not comparable. Some do tuning, some do only "lowerings", some are good in brushing and some prefer general modification like i do. So people will vote for their favoured techniques. And that wouldn't make any sense.
