DSM stand for Diamond Star Motors.

dunno what jdm stands for but it's usually used to refer to motors from japan

ive got an off topic question. why is the eagle talon and the mistu eclipse the same car?

diamond = mitsubishi, star = chrysler, motors = who knows but eclipse and talon are both made by diamond star motors (dsm)

In the 80's Chrysler and Mitsubishi joined together to make cars, they became diamond star motors. All eclipses lazers and talons are the same car with some minor differences like bumpers and stuff, overall they are the same car.
