I dont know whether I should buy chrome rims, or lightweight rims. I think the lightweight's are gonna be a lot more than the chrome's and I dont exactly have a lot of money to spend on rims. But in the long run, (when I'm racing) will it make much of a difference? I dont know tell me what you guys think, also what are some good brands of rims? lol incase you didnt notice I just got my license and am very new to all of this

first of all this is a 1g-2g dsm forum. You need to goto the 300gt forum. Light weight wheels do make a diffrence over crome b/c chrome is really heavy. But it they do have some chrome rims that are sort of light weight. I say get what looks good on your car and what you like. Dont worry about weight, just looks.

it really doesnt matter where he posts even though his car is a 3000gt... he just wants to have opinions on rims!
anyway if ya get chrome dont get anything over a 17" rim or with a lot of chrome cause it will definatly slow you down! i really like my MSR 190's cause they are light as hell but still have the chrome face and they only make them in 17"! here they are...

Well, it depends if your gonna race it or build it up as a show car. Lighter wheels are better for racing than chromed.

The calipers definately need to be painted but I can't figure out what color. The suspension upgrade is close to next on the list and will be done soon.
