I love RX-7's

I love them. I love them. I never stop thinking about them, and I really really want one. Second Gen, Third Gen...It doesn't matter. GTU, Turbo 2...I don't care. Touring package, R2 package, single turbo, Maria motorsports....It's all just so wonderful to me.
Sadly, I'm a broke-arsed college student, so I will never have one. :(

Come on, enough of that. What do you mean you'll never have one? Some day you'll be able to afford one (and it won't be that difficult - an RX-7 is not a Ferrari :D ). Just believe, and keep your head down and focused on your more immediate goals before you have the means to set your sights higher. Peace and love-

P.S. My buddy's brother races with an RX-7. It was fascinating to see the parts strewn all over his garage during a recent rebuild. Looks like some machine's parts, but nothing like what you'd expect when seeing the innards of an internal combustion engine. If you have the means, I recommend taking a look at the rotors, the block, and other mysterious parts that make up the rotary engine.

You see, the whole rebuild is why I'm afraid I'll never have one. They're pretty rare as it is, and in....3 years of college, 100 years of med school and internship... forever, when I could finally afford one I'm afraid there won't be any nice ones left, and when I find one with a decent body it's gonna need a new engine. then I have to deal with putting in a RENESIS, or trying to find a 13B to rebuild. Just so much damn work.
Oh, yes, Silver S2000, I guess it did work out okay. However, I got a first gen, and I really want a third gen (but would also love a second gen). Besides, if you saw the car you wouldn't think I was so lucky.

How much did it cost. And I think the Rotary engine is the best engine behind the Skylines.

Dont take this the wrong way, but that is one ugly rotabata.
They tried to make it look like a Porsche, and well failed.

Enzo when you finally get your 3rd gen RX-7 you won't need to rebuild your 13B...just slap in a 3 rotor 20B from a JDM Cosmo! NOW we're talking! :D:D

Or just save up and buy directly from Pettit Racing (they already do the 20B, as well as some other stuff).
Actually, I already have 5 RX-7's. Yup. 5. 4 are 1:24 FD's, and I also have a POS '81 that doesn't run. But, I got it for free, so it's cool.

I like the Mariah Mode packages that Mariah Motorsports offer. I've done my car. In fact Mariah Motorsports feature my car in their image gallery of 1st gens RX7.
Take a look. What do you think? I personally don't care what anyone thinks, and that's because I chose the styling to bring out the shape and looks even more - of the 1st gen body styling.

I like it. I checked out mariah but I will never spend 15k to get the full 2nd gen package. I'd just buy an FD.
