I was going to do the same thing with my prelude until I made some phone calls and found out that it would cost me @ $4000 to complete the whole conversion. I don't know how much more or less it would be for an accord but you're better off buying a whole new engine. Call you're local performance shops they can tell you.

hmm... 4 grand? ive made some calls around town and to local people that are friends of family. one is willing to charge 500 for labor.....that minus the parts. and ive found the bulf of the parts for 630.... so im guestimating about 1500-2k on the whole project cause as soon as i get the tranny,im gonna be nice to the engine and get a new flywheel (maybe) and a clutchmaster(not sure) clutch. definitely gettin a upgraded clutch right away thats for sure.:flash:

i went to a shop in colorado and infact i got my car done today, and i seem to get used to it now just breaking the car in now. Word of advice dont let friends touch your car, last time i let friends mess with my car it cost me 200 bucks. Pay more for people who have diplomas and stuff like that dont just let your friends words "I can do it" influence you.
