ive been wondering about swapping my hx engine with a b18c1 engine and i was wondering if the weight of the integras are heavier than my 97 civic coupe, cause if it heavier, i will possibly beat any integra... hmmm... and my wieght is 2300 pounds

why would u want a b18c1? with that cool photoshopping of your car, u could like take on a Z06.

not sure about the weight, but another thing to consider if u are just thinking about beating integras is the gear ratio of your tranny. prolly better bang for your buck to turbo.

see my engine is the wekest civic, the hx, blah blah sohc vtec-e etc, but either way, i want a b18c1 then turbo it, if i was going for naturally aspirated i would go for the b18c5, but like i said the c1 is the better to turbo, and yes my photoshopped civic can take on z06's and and mclaren f1s oo yeah. ok so maybe not

ls is better, or can produce more power if you are just talking boosting a stock motor. If you decied to do block work etc. then really it comes down to who wants to spend more money, not which motor. Each is capable of making loads of power. If you are going to build the bottom, I say get the b18c1, but if you are just gong to boost the stock block, I would say buy a cheaper b18b, and boost it. The b18b with the turbo should only cost like 1k more than a b18c1 with out turbo, so if you are on a tight budget then I would say go that rout. Really it all depends on your plans, and your budget, so like stated above there are too many variables that come into play as to which motor would be best. But as far as bang for the buck, a b18b with a turbo is a pretty fun setup. And as for weight. The integra weighs roughly 2600 pounds giver or take a few.
