Bonzelites movie tomorrow!!

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

The chase flick that bonzelite did the storyboard stuff for comes on tomorrow night (June 2) at 8 pm my time.

I know it has Dennis Hopper in it and as far as I can guess he's like a dude who had a hot 69 GTO (Judge), and people chased him a lot, and then he got sent to the pokey for a stretch. He gets out and his nephew has a new GTO (which the ads feature), and then there's a massive car chase that our own (like that taking ownership move) bonzelite scripted.

Now...I realize I may be 95 percent wrong about the story line, and there may actually be a plot, but I really only care about the cars.

Oh and I think there's a good lookin female too, but that's not important.

Help me out here Bonzelite.

as far as i know what you said is true. ive been watchin' usa a lot just to see the trailer for it. from what ive seen thats what its about.

give us more details about how you did the scenes and all that other cool stuff bonza

I'd also like to know if bonzelite has any hollywood stories for us. You know...dark gritty tales about the seedy underbelly...tales of storyboard mayhem and graphite heartache...

Hey Bonzelite, I didn't realize you where a famous story board artist.

I guess I thought you did story boards for small projects and agencies.
I just didn't realize you did movies.

I'm watching it right now. So far, I don't like to say it, but it's a bit corny. It reminds me of F&F with the beginning like that, standard storyline.

Guy gets an offer that's too good to pass up, girl doesn't want him to do it, guy does it anyway.

I'll watch through it though, not bad so far, I agree with Dennis Hopper about the eclipse, gto's are much better.

I was just watching it...*sigh*. In the first 15minutes I couldnt stand watching it anymore. The guy in the 03 Eclipse said "its a 6-banger". That right there almost had me gone, then he went on to say "NX NOS". That minute I turned off the show.

I sound a little crazy but its these little mistakes that make tuner people sound like idiots. At least teach the youth whats right.

...and they use the exact same "Orange Julius" RX-7 from 2Ricey 2 Ridiculous.

You're supposed to be looking at the chase scenes, and comparing them to the pics bonzelite posted for us earlier.

We know going into this that the films not academy award level. It's a USA movie.

My point is we get to see another side of automotive art in action. Who knew guys like bonzelite were out there as auto specialist in story boarding?

I would also encourage you to go through bonzelite's site. The work from all of the people there is inspiring to say the least.

Now I know F&F with the likes of Vin Deisel and Ludacris are outstanding films. The reviews from the general public support that...(pause)...anyway you getr a chance to see a real world application of auto art. It's very cool.

damn it!!! i fell asleep at about 7:30 and woke up and missed the whole movie!!!! i woke up to some guy drivin' the old gto off a cliff. i think its on again. see ya guys!!!1

I look forward to seeing this again at 10, and then 2 years from now when it's on Speed Channel every other saturday night.

I just finnished watching it and I have to say, it sucked. It was like a giant pontiac comercial. The only part I really liked was when they drove the judge over the cliff

i didn't think it sucked. it kinda started off on the wrong foot when it used the orange rx7 and a new eclipse (kinda not original). after that i started to get into it. i actually told my girlfriend id call her back because i wanted to watch it.

sitting here wondering why i wasted 2 hours of my evening watching that movie...the car chases sucked....the new gto look like a grand am...they smashed up a classic gto...storyline was full of holes....i know its just a network movie but still....they could have saved the money and used it for a 1 minute gto commercial instead

Bonzelite is a very skilled individual to even have the job he has. I feel I'm an ok artist but I know I don't have the skills to produce a "better" car chase than he did. So big ups to bonz.

Yes the movie was poor, but I know a person who has given solid direction and advice on almost a daily basis on this forum who also had a hand in the development process of the film as an automotive artist.

That alone makes it cool.

I waste time like that all the time.

It hurt bad when the Judge got crushed, but the bad guy deserved it.

I did like how we got to see a Black, Red, and Yellow New GTO, and the girlfriend's shameless Chesticle flaunting made me and my wife laugh.

Anyone like the red and black interior change when they re-did the new GTO?

What about those rims?? We got a good close up of them. They must be a new option.

I wish they would do a 2 hour film about the 1958 VW Ragtop.

In the 50's they used to make these 30 minute mini-films to promote new cars. I have an old Buick one on tape with this prancy fairy chick that cracks me up.

Bonzelite could be busy or maybe it's just a no big deal to him.

Years ago when I would see a shirt I designed somewhere I'd get all excited. I once scared the hell out of a lady and her kid in a grocery store because he was wearing a shirt I designed for Weiner Schnitzel.

Now it's no big deal, and I don't even think about it.

My guess is Bonze is deep in the next project, barely had time to come up for air.
