350z vs 5.0

i have a 03 350z with intake and my friend has a 91 mustang GT 5.0 with headers exaust intake and cams my z has 287 stock the 5.o has 225 stock. but he keeps saying he can beat me

I think your car shouldn't have any problems with your friends 5.0. I like the 5.0, but what he has just doesn't seem like enough to keep up with you.

The 5.0 will most likely run low 14's high 13's.. maybe, But you should take him.

the 350z stock runs low 14s and high 13s. you should be able to take him. race him and find out and tell us how it goes.

Take him in reverse, so he can learn a lesson.

I think the cars are close enough that its going to be a drivers race. The 350 is the faster of the two with equal drivers, but its pretty close.
