Putting my mitsibishi 2.0 turbo back together

I have a 1990 Plymouth laser. I am currently putting new pistons in it because the previous owner had the timing all messed up. When I put it back together, how do I know which way the balance shaft and oil pump go? Would the weighted end go up or down on either of them if it were on #1 cylnder? :uhoh:
