HELP! changing the front rotors on a 2000 rodeo

i can not get the rotor seperated from the part with the lug bolts. does this need to be pressed off? any help will be greatly appretiated

Are you sure that the rotors and bolts are not one unit?? I have not had my brakes apart yet so I dont know for sure but my other car has wheel studs that are part of the rotor.

once yor tire has been removed the brake caliper must be removed then the rotor should just about fall off if not place a 2x4 against the rotor and pound the crap out of the 2x4 untill the rotor comes sounds like its just a bit rusted

You need to take the hub apart to get the front rotors off the spindles on pre 2002 rodeos. Check here: http://www.planetisuzoo.com/articles.htm/56
