Need Help With Avenger Fuel System...

I recently had a problem starting my avenger. The ignition turns and tries to start but wouldnt click over to start. I had it diagnosed and they said it was the fuel pump. So i bought a new fuel pump and installed it. It works but the car still won't start. I figured maybe it was the fuel filter since that hadnt been changed in years. So i just installed the filter today. It tries to start with some quick start fluid but then goes back to the standard ignition noise after awhile.

Any ideas what the problem could be because i am at a loss here. One day it runs fine, the next morning it doesnt start. Any help would be much appreciated.

My Avenger also started stalling and not restarting sometimes. Runs great when it does start. I can tell you its not the distributor,450.00 later. Back at the shop today. This is the first problem I've had in 8 years with it.

After much stalling and not starting, 2 new distributors and almost a new computer, the mechanic found the problem to be the crank position sensor. Alls well again for 29.00
