how fast?

what can your chevelle do 0-60 in?
mine can do it in 1.8 sec timed at infintion race way

no my chevelle is not stock it has a custom 502 board to a 540 with an turbo 400 shifter and a trans break and a over drive system
is has alot more but i wont say what
it looks really nice and is really fast i will post a pic soon.

can somone post specs on their chevelle i want to see how mine compares to theirs.

my specs
0-60 1.8 secs
quarter mile 9.2 secs
not sure but i thinks the 0-60 feet is .5 sec
top speed is 182 mph
(note that is because of the trans)
the engine is capable of 220 mph trans cant do that

my chevelle also has back seats because they were in when i put in the roll bars i cant figure out how to take them out it also has a front seat and a heater right now

i would post some pics of my car except for the fact that i dont have a digital camera, or a scanner. i have a few pictures that i scanned at a friends house that are on my computer but they are in the paint format and i cant figure out how to format them to open them with someing other than that.

can you really bore a 502 out by 188 thousanths of an inch. a 502 has a bore of 4.475 inches. to get it to a 540ci by boring it, you never said it was stroked only bored so its to late to say its stroked, you would have to bore it to 4.635inchs. unless someone else has anything to say about a 502 being able to be bored that much im calling BS. now maybe when you get those pics or explane yourself i will believe you but not likly. oh by the way pics of the car and the engine and all your suspencion and the slicks you are running would be good.

well guess what. when your talking about how much a blower adds your usualy dealing with %. so in theory it could add the same about for you as him. and not to mention you could pick up a jegs or summet catalog and look up the blowers and it advertises a rage in witch you should be able to get.

for your seat, is it them or it, make up your mind. if its a little tiny seat in the back how come you cant figure out how to take it out. in a 68 chevelle you can not put a regular full size seat in when you tub it, because the STOCK wheel wells are already right up agenst the seat. they actauly had to take and make the ouside 3 or 4 inches of the seat on both sides taper down and be about 2-3 inches thick so that it could acomidate the wheel wells being there so if it is tubed you could not have a regular seat in witch you should have had to put in that little tiny seat in the middle or have someone else do it, so you should have known how to get it out, but then i guess you did sence you just said you took it out. oh and i should know cuz i own a 68 chevelle.
now, how come you dont "have the info" off the top of your head? how many people who actualy build there own cars dont know the specs on it. i can tell you everything right down to the cam grind number and i built the engine over 2 years ago.

hey 68 chevelle i have a stero in my car becaue it used to be street legal and i drove it on the street sometimes
when it was legal it dident have a blower, tubed tires, or nos now it has all that so i took out the stero
and ya it was a back seat only one it isnt that small but its or it was right in the middle

i will post pics of now and when it was street legal
they will be up soon
