32 Ford Roadster - HELP!

Hi all,

I need help in sourcing a fenderless 32 ford roadster.

about ten years back, before I got into 1:43 I had a plan to build a high tech hiboy. I never got round to building it, but I was watching American Hotrod today, and I decided I really should build it.

I've sourced a chasis from R&D Unique, with IFS and discks all round. Power will be small block chevy with TPI, again from R&D. Detail Master are doing the interior and under hood detail parts, plus a set of big n' little billet wheels. However... I'm stuck for a body!

Does any one know where I can source a 32 fenderless roadster body? Preferably resin, preferably from someone with online ordering as I'm in the UK, and US kits just aren't available over here so I have to get everything airmailed in from the US.

May not be of any help to you, but I know Revell Monogram made a 1:24 32 Ford Hi-boy. Not sure if it's available anymore, or if you can get at it over the pond. Good luck.

Well there are hi-boys and Vickies. It depends on exactly what you want.

Cool, I figured RM had one, I'm sure it was available not that long ago, but Tower Hobbies don't have it on their website. It sounds like just what I need, but I can't find any online retailers who have one... I guess it was popular! I've tried all the retailers listed in the FAQ, but no one seems to have one. Any other sugestions of good suppliers?

Here are a couple I found

1/24 Deuce Coupe (http://www.ehobbies.com/1002-2195.html)(has small fenders, just look at it, it might be workable).

1/8 Hi-Boy (http://www.ehobbies.com/mo-rmx-852616.html) I'd love to see this built.

If you'd prefer resin, Replicas and Miniatures Co. of Maryland has ten tons of resin Deuce bodies of all varieties of customization in their catalog.

My personal favorite is the Duval windshield roadster body.
