auto tranny and setup ?

sup guys.... i heard that the auto tranny cant really support a turbo that well without being built for it. I was wondering uf that was a mith or really true. THis kid told me that i would have to build the bottom end and s***. Also i would like to know if i could get a good setup for about 1500-2500 with ins. WUt do you think would be an ideal pricing for me to look at. Im lookin to get this done before sept. thx for the help

Well if the kid was talking about the tranny when he told you to bulid the bottom end then yea he does not know what he is talkin about.
The tranny is fine.

Yeah that is what i thought because a dude in import tuner or hci was running 15 psi on a auto tranny for quite awhile.

yea what i meant was wat kinda turbo i was lookin into a t4/t3 turbonetic setup that i found online for 1900. but i want to find somethin to wear i could get a turbo and everything plus install for about 2500. pretty hard to find though. here is the link to that setup

no wut i had meant was that i was told that the bottom end would have to be rebuilt which i didnt really believe but not to sure so i asked. So wut i thought was right.

your tranny will be just fine...

you motor on the other hand will not be fine if you boost more that 10psi! if you want to go with higher boost you must build the motor up first!
