Anyone else try this?
I just got it tonight and used it tonight also, really worth the small amount of money I paid for it and I recommend it to anyone who is lazy and doesn't like to dry their car. :D

My brother used it and said it was completely worthless. Even wrote the company demanding his money back.

It would be boring anyway. There's nothing better on a sunny weekend drying your baby off. Well except driving her. :)

Its really not worth your money. You have to replace the filter every 3 car washes (that adds up, especially if you wash your car as often as me). The soap that you're supposed to spray on is way too thinned out, I ended up using my own Turtlewax soap. If you really have a vendetta against drying your car, it works just fine. But its really not worth the extra time and water that it takes up.

i thought the filter had to be changed. i like to dry my car, then i can put a finish on immediately after.

The filter does have to be changed every now and again because the water becomes un-ionized, which is the reason why it dries so fast :dunno:

soon its going to be: spray this crap on and it will clean and dry your car in one step.

just some product appealing to lazy americans.

:lol2: Hey shaddup, some of us dont have all the tmie in the world to wash the car. Sometimes drying takes too long

the ones who care about their car will do it the right way. i used to work 55 hours a week and go to school full time and i still had "time" to wash my car once a week. i am now lucky enough to have a job that i only have to work full time during the school year.

I also work full-time and go to school. I only have saturday mornings to wash the car, but I have other things to do. Now this is a good product for those who are short on time and the lazy...still a good product...doesnt mean they dont care for the car

that is the point i was trying to get across, LAZY people. some people are so bad they would consume food already chewed for them.

When I was a lad I worked a full time job WHILE washing my car...in the snow, pushing it to school uphill, barefoot...with the emergency brake on.

You shaddup and your fake stories :lol2: jk. But just because a product is time saving does not mean its only intended for the lazy

I normally dry the car by driving it. Works better and faster than doing it by hand (and more fun too)

Dont you usually get smearing or whatever on your windows? I know at te end of my wash, if I dont dry then I get a couple of (whats seems to be)stains from the water

yes raz kaz is right, just because it's a time saver doesn't mean you are lazy. If you think auto-dry is lazy because it saves time, then I think everyone who uses laundromats is lazy. Hand scrub it yourself you lazy bum, it only takes up a lil more time just like drying a car. And oh, why use a vacuums when you can just brush the dust out and beat it clean, only the lazy use vacuums!

i thought we were talking about cars here? MBTN put it right in the first place. you gotta take the shirt off and flex some muscle while washing the muscle. i would never compare washing clothes to washing a car.
i just dont like the product-also, I stated that i like to put a finish on right after it is dried (or while drying).

You dont have to like it. Thats your choice, but to say that its meant for the lazy and leaving at that is wrong. Its meant to save time, anyone can use it for any reason, not only to be lazy. If you enjoy drying yuor car yourself then Kudos but others dont have the time to enjoy that so must resort to using products such as these

I never thought that drying your car would become such a heated discussion......

Raz_Kaz
06-02-2004, 01:22 PM
LOL, its not a heated discussion nor an argument, but rather just me putting in my .02 about people always thinking that a new product that makes things easy is intended only for the lazy

It's supposed to be nice for people that have hard water (water w/ tons of minerals in it) because it filters the minerals out. That's how the water dries w/out the streaks you'd usually see.
