Ok sorry to be such a pain as I am new here, but since the 1960 catalina 4 door is in better shape than the ventura, I was thinking about redoing it. I have had alot of guys tell me I would be a fool to redo the catalina and not the ventura. Anyone got any takes? Actually if anyone knows of any good pics of a 4 door 1960 catalina I would like to see them. All I can find on the web is pics of slammed to the ground 2 doors. Seeing a nice 4 door redone might help me make my decision. Cory

I know this is late, but if you are looking for photos, go on ebay.com under collector cars and you will see posted photos of cars for sale. If you are patient - eventually a 1960 four-door will go up for sale. Eventually, you will even find a restored one or great original and you can copy the photos if you like. One warning about auto restoration - do you want to spend $25k to have a car that is worth $12,000? Just walk in w/your eyes wide open. I tried to insert a photo of a '60 Bonneville 4dr for sale on ebay today but couldn't get it to work. There were no Venturas or Catalinas of that year today. Good luck!

He’s right! Some cars you can restore as an investment but for the most part a car will not give you a return on investment in monetary terms, but if you truly love the car and intend on keeping it then choose the one you enjoy most.
I know this thread was posted some time back, but this general rule applies to anyone restoring a car.
