Electrical Socket Not Working, Please Help...

Hello, I am trying to use the cigarette lighter socket in my car but I am getting no power from it, I took out the sliver socket piece and cleaned the contacts, etc but I still get no juice. Could it be that the socket piece needs to change or do you think its a problem with the wire? I would appreciate any advice you can give me thanks...

Fuse is blown, im gonna replace it tomorrow and see what happens...
