95 Remote Keyless Entry Question

Hi Guys (and Ladies),
My son-in-law just bought a 95 Camaro base model with a v6. It is in great condition and he got it for $1800. Was that a pretty good deal? My real question is: the previous owner said it has keyless entry but she lost the remote. Would someone with a 95 mind giving me the numbers on the back of their factory remote? Also, programming instructions, or are they in the manual?

First before you go and spend money make sure the car really does have keyless... On the RPO code list the code " AU0 " is for remote entry. The RPO code list is located on either the drivers door above the latch or in the glove box... Also instructions on how to program your keyless should be in the owners manual. I'm not sure which remote was used in 95. The square one or the other one like the newer GM cars have.

Thanks, but as I mentioned, the previous owner told us it had factory RKE and she lost the remote. I found out we do have the owners manual, so I only need to get numbers from a remote for 95.
