Remote entry 2000 silverado

Hi I have a 2000 new style silverado and am trying to program the remotes. I already tryed the hold the unlock turn key on and off 2 time and that did not work. I checked the numbers on the remotes and they are correct and put in new batterys. WHAT NOW there must be another way to program. :banghead:
