Yet another conversion question

First of all, I finally found a 240. But the front end is not healthy...sticky lights and nasty bumper thats all bashed up. I still wanna do the 13.5 convesion, and this was a perfect candidate.

My question...are the blue class conversion fenders from GTP International of good quality, and will they line up good? Im sure they will since they were made for the s13 itself, but i couldnt help to wonder if it would be considering the $$$.

And is there anywhere that has pics of the sil80 s15 conversion in progress? Sorry if this is in the FAQs or anything, i looked and...well now im here. Anything helps................thanks.

And im very serious about this, i just need to know so ill know whether to get the car or not.

And with the fenders, lights, and bumper installed. Do I buy a hood made especially for the 99+ s15, or will i need one that will "fit" the conversion?

Where can i find the s15 brackets, can i use the s13 brackets and drill for the 15s headlights?

jspec.com? i don't think you can just use the s13 brackets, you need to buy special ones i believe. it's not a simple bolt on process. there's a lotta stuff you gotta buy, at least 3000 bux worth of it. and then paint.

if you going to do a 13.5 conversion do it right the first time around buy a s15 core support then the headlight will fit with out any modifications and another thing the gtp conversion fenders suck ass get the mesa conversion fenders they are a perfect fit. but to do all this you have to have $$$$$ the mesa fenders are not that cheap so again money comes into play. if you want pics on my project which is not finish yet just email me at [email protected] is just my car with the core support fenders and hood already installed.

actually doing the 13.5 conversion its pretty easy the only thing that's hard for me was the core support

another question, about how much weight would either of the conversions save? considering you take out the flip ups?

s13, not much if any at all man. s15 conversion will probably loose some weight cuz the hood is supposed to be carbon fiber. but...it still probably won't make that huge of a difference.

i got mine for $600 i am just saying i see them for like $1000 shipped....hell i doubt anyone would get it for what i got it for...$500+ $100 for shipping...

okay i was just lookin at the www.raretrick.com website and lookin at the s13silvia conversion. All i chose was a do-luck grill and eveything else stock. All it was charging was like 250 bucks or something? This cant be right...or could i rip them off?
