A/C cuts out in rain?

I've had a problem with my A/C cutting out during a heavy rain. I've taken it to mitsu and those idiots said that there was nothing wrong that they could find. Now my warrenty is up and I want to get this taken care of. Running my heat to defog the windows when its hot out is not an option that I want to continue to do. Anyone know how to fix that?

The only thing that I can think of right now is why in the world are you running your heat to defog your windows when it is hot outside?

Try to defog your windows with out A/C when its 70 out and pouring. It wont work with out putting heat on it. The windows just fog up real bad. Trust me! Its not fun at all.

SkiNutJones you might try calling a different dealership and see what they say, not all of them have a good head on thier shoulders.

the problem with that is that I did go to the two local dealerships, and now my warrenty is up so now I will have to pay for it myself. Thats why I'm hoping that it might be something simple that somone knows about.
