Since i'm a proud owner of an S8 i thought i'll share some pics with you... :D

About my car , it was produced in july of 1998 , and it has been a demo car at an audi dealership for a month and then i got it... the original alcantara seats were stolen so they're replaced with normal leather seats
(recaros that are standard for S8) , it's all stock expect for the clear side indicators and ecu tuning with the speed limiter taken off... anyway i think i'll add movit porsche brakes ( www.movit.de ) and mtm exhaust...

Ok so here is what this car is about... the 4.2L 32V V8 pumping out 367 hp (stock it was 340 , but at the dyno it said 367 at the cranck) with new ECU module and speed governor removed

Yeah , it's very very good... the rest you can see in the pictures , it's an older model dash with no tv , but it has navigation , it displays between the speedo and the tacho...

You probably can notice that it doesn't have the sport steering wheel , because i like the multi-function wheel more , you can adjust the radio and use the phone with it so i find it useful... notice the badge on the tacho , and the 7000 redline

Very, very nice! Much like the one used in "Ronin". I had the pleasure of sitting in a 2001 Canadian-spec S8, and instantly fell in love with it, I might just have to look around for one once I actually start making some money :rolleyes:. Anyways, you already have several nice pics showing most of what I want to see, but I don't suppose you could take a picture of the trunk (boot)? I imagine it's very roomy, but I'd like to see it myself. Thanks Tom :D

Ferrari 69gt , of course it'sa german model , and this information displaying on the pic can't be changed but the rest can be changed to more languages f.e in the navigation menu like on the pic...

Love the car man. I saw an S8 in the movie "Ronin" yesterday and it kicked ass. They don't have them in the States do they?

The US didn't have the S8 then, but it was just introduced for the 2002 model year, I believe, with a VERY mild facelift, and automatic/tiptronic only, no manual.

Yeah... the european models got a facelift in 99 too , and also the engine got 5 valves... it's really mild like you said , halogen lights in the bumper , and more chrome , but the thing that's more interesting is the interior , they got that big screen nav/TV i want so badly... i have navigation and it works fine but i like the big screen... Also i almost forgot about the thing that you wanted the trunk pics , i have to appologize that i didn't post them for such a long time , i promise to post them tommorow , but i have had a trip to italy and france , and i wasn't around for more than 2 weeks ( you can see a little of it here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t28961.html) ) i would do it now but it's dark now and they wouldn't come out good...

seen a couple of them in New York city one about two years ago i guess he was filthy rich

nice audi! i got to sit in a us spec s4 at the auto show and i loved it...although it's $10k more than the a4...not sure if that's really worth it. my father-in-law has an a6 quattro that i'm hoping to take over in a few years when he retires and gets a tt. gotta love the audi!!!

i actually saw a s8 in auburn, california of all places. the guy must've been passing through on his way to his ski hou$$$e on lake tahoe.

RS8. GREAT!! when is it out, got any pictures or more specs on it? if the RS2, RS4 n RS6 are anythin to go by it will be fantastic:D

While I love Audi S8's, I still think the V8 Jag XJR is better, did you ever consider one Tom? Take a look when it comes time to trade up :) :)

XJ8's are nice, but they still bring just a little bit of Jag's traditional reliability with them. Go for the S-Type is you want a really good Jag, or better still, buy an RS8 when/if it comes out

The XK8 is far better than any Audi, (except that one in Park Lane, Mayfair, London) But with the college thing, it would not really work.
