Attention Whores vs. Post Whores

Do you think there is a difference?

Sure.. I mean a whore is technically a prostitute, right? A post whore is someone who just gets around in a lot of threads.

I think Whores came first, being that they sleep around alot. Postwhores came second, like JD said, they post around alot.

Definitely a difference. Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t whores actually get paid for what they do?? Post whores just post because they want to :p

I dunno about the rest of you, but I get $0.25 per post I make...I should be rolling a BMW 330 next year :D

Most definaly a differenct. Attention Whores do what they do so they will get attention, post whores do what they do for the all-mighty post count:p

The problem with postwhoring in general topics is it floods the thread with needless crap posts with no intent or any information being passed on.

there is a place for everything. I agree with Razor postwhoring in general topics is bad, there should be specific Postwhore/ nonsense threads

An attention whore is someone who posts long whiny threads about their life..
A postwhore hits the :coolguy: button and moves on.


An attention whore runs up 30 threads a night
A postwhore hits them all.Twice.


An attention whore bitches about the mods.
A postwhore eventually becomes a mod.


An attention whore has a different avatar every week.
A postwhore has a weak avatar.


An attention whore has too much personal information laid out.
A postwhore never goes beyond :coolguy:


An attention whore takes a whole page for his/her sig.
A Postwhore thinks sigs are :coolguy:


An attention whore KNOWS HOW TO DO THIS
A Postwhore would much rather :coolguy: six threads in the same time.


An attention whore will post outrageously using an alter ego
A postwhore doesn't care who the attention whorereally is,its going to get a :coolguy: regardless.
