my rx8 drawing. i used the grid technique again :) the shading came out alright and the hood is a little off(and the back wheel) but oh well...

compare a shadow of the car, to a real shadow, and decide for yourself if its dark enough... need to go way darker on the shades...

wheels looks off, the rim anyways, but its good, looks like an rx8 and nothing really wrong proportion wise i dont think

nice

yeah, the shadow should be a bit darker.

lot darker, it shoudl be pure black, i do blacks first, i dont know how you shade, but yah, if you go really dark(black) to really light (white) then the car would look more 3-d and more "real"

besides the wheels the drawing looks good. make the scoops in the front bumper darker as well. also work on the front lip. it seems a little wobly

go to kinko's or whatever and xerox it. or scan it. bump up the contrast. you will begin to see that a copy of it may look better than your original insofar as contrast.

don't be afaid of deep blacks and white whites. study glass and metal reflections more seriously.

work on elipses and wheel designs/geometry.

otherwise, you have a good grasp of basic drawing.
