1996 olds aurora O2 problem

hi my 1996 olds aurora threw a check engine light.... we put on the scanner and it took us to the O2 sensor...so i changed the O2 sensor (bosch) i dissconected the battery for 30-40 minutes and connected it again.... i drove the car for 50 miles and it came back one.... what should i do????

Not sure about the 96 Aurora but my 97 has 4 O2 sensors. One on each of the exhaust manifolds and one before the converter as well as one after it. Did you replace the correct one?

all auroras, except mine (1995) have FOUR oxygen sensors. Two before the cat and two after the cat. the 95's only have two before the cat.
